Post in collaboration with Stena Line
We were super excited to be asked to come onboard the Stena Line ships again to experience one of their Kids cruises! It was only last July that we joined them to kick off their summer of fun. (Read about it here.) So to me it was a no brainer, we jumped at the chance!!
Our day began after a seamless check in and we were greeted onboard by a party of cowboys and cowgirls! They instantly knew we were coming for a fun day as Freddie was dressed to impress in his Spaceman outfit! They advised us of all the fun hotspots onboard and we followed the sound of kids laughing to get involved in the festivities! We started off with some face painting and Freddie opted for a scary Vampire but the guys had all the tricks up their sleeves and he even got a tattoo as well!!!Next stop was the entertainment, we naturally had a little boogie followed by a sing song…..a famous shark song…you might know it! The entertainment team where great and had the kids captivated. The children found them so fascinating, even Sadie to my surprise. She didn’t move an inch during the Puppet show, she loved it!Before we knew it we were starting to see Scottish land, so we took the opportunity to head to the Taste restaurant so we could refuel for the journey home. With options and deals aplenty we satisfied our bellies, I opted for the chefs favourite, Fish and Chips. It was MASSIVE and defiantly hit the spot, if you’re ever onboard the Superfast VII you definitely have to try! YUM! 😋We stopped by ‘Happy World’ to burn off some energy before our departure back to Belfast…and of course for me to burn of some calories..😂 Its easy to forget you’re onboard a ship, with so much to do you could easily be anywhere! The boat is jam packed with activities, cinema, teen town, soft play. It’s hard to believe we are just traveling 2 hours 15 minutes across the Irish Sea, it seems like we should be on a European cruise!Knowing we were headed homeward, we headed back to the Party . After some ballon art the party got lively again and the kids where kept bouncing all the way back to Belfast. A disco, some party games and even a visit from a special guest, the kids will definitely sleep tonight! We had such a fab day onboard Stena Line Superfast VII. The non landing Kids Fun Cruise is great, so much entertainment in one spot with the novelty of being onboard a huge ship! From just £12.00 for a day out, its definitely something they won’t forget!
Thank you Stena Line for a fabulous time!
